At Agha Engineering LLC, we specialize in pedestrian facilities and bikeway design adhering to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines and pedestrian safety. Our expertise in bicycle and pedestrian planning enables us to create safe, accessible, and efficient pedestrian and bikeway systems that cater to diverse mobility needs. AEL’s staff has successfully delivered pedestrian and bikeway focused TxDOT projects as part of the Pedestrian Facilities Program and has worked on each phase of the pedestrian and bikeway project delivery. Our team meticulously plans and designs each project, keeping in mind the broader context of the existing transportation landscape. Delivery includes planning, detailed design, and construction phase services.

AEL understands that planning and communication is essential when developing multi-modal transportation facilities. Bicycle and pedestrian planning involves a thorough analysis of current and anticipated needs, as well as careful consideration of local city and metropolitan planning organizations' objectives. We aim to create integrated, multi-modal facilities that enhance connectivity and promote healthy, sustainable modes of transport. We review existing corridor studies and diagrammatic/geometric schematics to ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and consider the existing and anticipated bicycle and pedestrian facility systems within transit stops, corridors, bike routes and walking networks. Local city and metropolitan planning organizations are additionally considered for pedestrian and bikeway plans.
